I’m kinda obsessed 😍 they’re such an amazing back AND core defining move if you’re engaging your core properly! . A few weeks ago I asked you girls which moves you’d like to see me demonstrate proper vs improper form and I just uploaded the first video to YouTube! 2007 vs 2018 🙊 Since I already shared a 10 year transformation, here’s an 11 year 😆 Does anyone else look back and feel like periods of time in your life were another life entirely? . ⬅️ Before: * Partied (clearly 🤣) * Ate only fast food * Wouldn’t step foot in a gym * Drank almost no water * Had trouble sleeping * Had digestive + GI issues from poor eating habits . ➡️ After: * Enjoys a glass of wine or two here and there * Eats 80/20 * Works out for my mental, emotional and physical health * Drinks 3-4 liters of water a day * Prioritizes sleep * No more digestive + GI issues (except for when I have huge cheat meals) . While I didn’t have a ton of weight to lose, my transformation was largely health focused, I am also proud of the physical change. And there’s only a 5 lb difference between these two photos! But one thing I want to add and make clear is despite the differences between these two photos, I still loved myself in the 2007 photo. No matter how much I did or didn’t weigh, I never let it phase me and question my worth. If you were to look up “tough love” in the dictionary, this quote would be there 😯🙌 while we can argue whether doctor’s do make us healthy or if teachers do make us smart... the point is, no matter how much information someone else gives you or no matter how much someone else does things for you, none of it matters if you aren’t willing to put in the work yourself. . The work being: days and nights you hate it. Days you feel weak, uninspired, bored, BUT you do it anyways. Days you question whether this is what you really want, and some days you aren’t sure, BUT you do it anyways. There are many unrewarding days in this journey, that’s a fact. But there are just as many extremely rewarding, fulfilling, exciting, and proud moments that make it all. worth. it. . I can share a thousands motivational quotes, but those won’t do anything unless you get up and make it happen for yourself. You and only you can write the pages of your journey. And hey, it’s HARD! Swipe to see the full circuit plus some modifications for the jumping moves! 😉 . 🔥 Glute Bridge: 20 reps 🔥 Box Squats: 20 reps 🔥Jumping Lunges: 10 reps each side (modifications available) 🔥 Jump Turns: 5 reps each way (modifications available) . Notice in the jump turns how I jump turning to the left and also to the right. It’s really important to alternate jumping each way because if you only jump to the left, you’re teaching your body to strength the muscle only on one side of your body. While jumping and twisting to one side might feel a little awkward (for me it’s turning to the right) it’s important to do so so you don’t create an imbalance between both sides. Same thing with the jumping lunges and modifications - don’t forget to repeat on the opposite side! 😉 . Repeat this circuit 3x! Hi @rvbaja! We have a lot of mama’s to be currently using the app. However we recommend consulting with your doctor to make sure it’s okay for you personally. Your doctor will also be able to recommend modifications for certain move like the ones where you’re laying on your back or stomach 🤗💕
