Jelena Noura "Gigi" Hadid, who was born on April 23, 1995 in Los Angeles, is an American model. Gigi Hadid is the daughter of Palestinian born Mohamed Hadid and former Dutch model Yolanda Hadid. She is the sister of Bella Hadid, who works as a model. In addition, she has a brother and seven half-siblings.

Her career was initially difficult; many agencies rejected on the grounds that she was too fatigued for a model. Hadid appeared in magazines VMAN, Elle, Grazia, Cleo, Vogue and Paper. And also, she was on the covers of magazines Galore, you! and Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book. In 2012, she was the Face of Guess. In 2014, she featured in the annual swimwear edition of Sports Illustrated. In 2015, she won the Model of the Year Award of The Daily Front Row's. At the end of the year she was seen as a catwalk model at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Since 2015, Hadid has been advertising for Maybelline and Cara Delevingne's successor as a representative of Topshop's fashion label. Hadid appeared in several music videos. Among other things, she was in the video for Swallower of Swift Swirl, Simple Things by Miguel and Pillow Talk of Zayn Malik. She also appeared several times in the television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Hadid has been dating with the former one-direction singer Zayn Malik since November 2015.
