I’m calling this one...”Mumbai meets Victorian Conservatory” 🌿🍊🌿 When the clients came to me for their Sangeet design, they knew they wanted a clear tent with lots of lights and they were using phrases like “L’Orangerie”, and “Maharaja’s Garden” to describe the overall feel...I started researching India and we came up with so many unique elements for this one that you really just have to watch my stories from yesterday and the behind the scenes process it took to pull it off! We brought in 40 citrus and tropical trees, 20 smaller palms and 20 low lying ferns to make the space feel like a greenhouse...then to accent the amazing furniture pieces we chose from @foundrentals, we went with lush white and green florals, marble pieces (to mimic the fountains found in India), etched and hammered brass, fresh citrus piled up, stacks of vintage books, peacock candlesticks and oversized lanterns...to say the space was transformed is an understatement and don’t kill me but I’m definitely going to be posting a few more photos of this because I am pretty dang proud of how it came together! Loved working with my girls @allyouneedisloveeventson this one and we couldn’t have done it without @brighteventrentals@bellavistadesignsas well!

Decided to rally this weekend for Spring Break and literally booked a hotel room on Friday at 11pm...we left Saturday morning and drove straight to Pioneertown, about 2.5 hours from the OC...the kids loved walking around but obviously when we all got to hold BABY GOATS, I would say it was the highlight of their day 🐐🐐 This place was pretty cool and not too far of a detour on the way to Joshua Tree! Yesterday’s gorgeous wedding in Ojai 🌿🍊🌿 this little town is know for their citrus so we incorporated it wherever we could, including on this reclaimed wood chuppah! We added southern smylax, bay leaf, delicate blooming white pieris and tangerine branches, along with beautiful vintage lace that belonged to the Bride’s grandmother 🙌🏻 potted herbs finished the look and blended in perfectly with the natural aesthetic of our surroundings...check my stories for a whole bunch more behind the scenes of this amazing day!
