The pic on the left was me about 10 years ago. I was 3-4 years into my fitness journey and didn’t really no shit about how to make some real gains. I was 24 and about 160 pounds. I was always a skinny kid growing up and definitely felt like I would never be able to put on real size. . . The pic on the right is me now at almost 34 and about 190lbs. It’s taken me many years of hard work, consistency and patience to build the body and level of fitness that I have now. I know some of you have heard me talk about this before but, there are no secrets! Don’t waste too much time taking 7 different supplements trying to get those fast results. To make real gains, it takes years. Trust the process and enjoy what you’re doing In the present. The results will come in time! . . Let’s start the week off strong and get shit done today! The ol alley oop muscle up is quite the challenge. Sometimes when I do these challenges I get them in a few tries. Other times it takes me 30 haha. I think I did over 30 muscles up this day🤷‍♂️ It may seem like I never fail at shit and that’s just not the case. It’s through countless times of failing or in this case missing the ball, to finally succeed. This obviously applies to so many things in life. We have to pick ourselves up and keep pushing forward. Why do you train? Are you training for aesthetics? A specific sport? Just to be able to be active with your kids? Just for longevity and to be healthy? . . We all have different reasons for why we workout. I personally train for so many different reasons. I train to be healthy and to hopefully live a nice long life. I train to be as athletic and badass as I possibly can. I train to look good. I train because it makes me feel good. I get a high from working out that no drug or drink could ever give me. It helps me have confidence in myself. Reduces anxiety and just makes me a happier person. I could probably keep going with this as it’s a pretty loaded question haha.
